Some people THINK they have the best roommates...

...But we KNOW we have the best roommates!  So thankful to be living with the cups quartet, couldn't have dreamed of a better house.  Thanksgiving break has come and gone (along with its funs and occasional mishaps), and we're ready to start last part of fall semester together. Love you roommates and THANK YOU SO MUCH for everything!! <3333

Trick or treat...cook me something good to eat!

The fun-packed roommate bonding night that we had all been counting down to has finally arrived!

First destination was Zumba Fright Night at the gym.  Say hello to the four roommates, disguised as 80's Fanta girls.  My-Linh as grape, Polly as orange, Rosie and cherry, and Vy as banana. Didn't we look fanta-stic tonight?

Then back home to carve pumpkins, eat a delicious meal of acorn squash/honey chicken /herb mash potatoes/ mouthwatering pumpkin bread, and watching hunger games.  The perfect kind of grad school nights. :)

We mustache you a question, Polly...

...how old are you turning today?

Actually lets rewind to Saturday, where the birthday celebration began a day too early. Mistakenly thinking that Polly would be away all weekend until the morning of her birthday, we put up decorations on Friday night.  But to our surprise, we woke up on Saturday morning to an email from Polly saying that she had already received her birthday surprise. Whoops!!

But no fear, our second attempt of surprising Polly was here! On Sunday night, My-Linh came home with red velvet cupcakes, which were rumored to be the birthday girls favorite.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY POLLY!  We love you! <3 We celebrated with a mini mustached themed celebration and roomie night chats.  We knew then that we would rather live here than anywhere else, with each other.  Happy birthday once again, our lovely roommate of ours!        

                               

Welcome to our new home!

When we first stepped into our new home, we knew that it was the end of our amazing summers.  But what we didn't know was that it was the start of a new adventure - an adventure that we would take together, as a roommate team.  

One was from Delaware, 

Three were from Maryland. 

Different backgrounds, 

Different professions, 

And different aspirations, 

What would the new year hold for us? 

First to arrive was My-Linh, 

Coming from her southern travels.  

Starting her first year of training

To become that country doctor

But secretly training to be a swing dancer.  

One by one, the rest of us entered our new homes

Greeted by the happy welcome sign created by My-Linh. 

Next came Vy, 

Fresh off the plane from the Caribbeans,  

Following long summer months of research in charm city.  

It feels like infamous 2nd year of pharmacy school has come rather too soon,

Oh me oh my what will the next year hold?  

Then swings in Rosie, 

From a summer filled with travels in China, child-sized patients, 

And occasional dancing in heels. 

Second year of medical school looming around the corner, 

May the odds be in her favor.  

And finally to complete the crew comes Polly, 

The star athlete from the northeast. 

With her fun filled post graduation summer, 

Complete with weddings and travels all over the state, 

And a little bit of work on the side, 

She says goodbye to Delaware to start a new life.  

The four different planets, 

Who's orbits finally collide, 

They decided to explore the new galaxy together, 

Side by side.     

 

And so the adventures begin.
